Our Story
A still morning. Mist curls over the river. Hippos grunt. A monkey, her baby clinging on, tries to steal your breakfast. We’re Katy and Eugene, and when we met in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, we spent our time filming the incredible nature and everyday moments just for fun.
Then we noticed something. The people and brands doing the most meaningful work, protecting nature, building communities, preserving craft, were often invisible. Why wasn’t anyone seeing them?
We decided to change that. With our camera and editing skills, we set out to tell their stories. But we quickly realised it wasn’t just about beautiful visuals. To reach the right people, we had to understand storytelling, marketing, and strategy.
One of our first videos was for a handwoven natural rug brand. The right people saw it, and it worked. Orders started coming in, so many that the founder joked another video might bring more work than she could handle.
Since then, we’ve filmed stories around the world, from Portugal to South Africa, the UK to Kenya. We’ve filmed in eco-lodges, worked with artisans, and helped camera-shy clients feel confident on screen. Along the way, we’ve collaborated with grassroots organisations, small businesses, and global names like CNBC and Michelle Obama.
