Our Story
A still morning. Mist curls over the river. Hippos grunt. A monkey with her baby clinging on tries to steal your breakfast. We’re Katy and Eugene, and when we met in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia we used to spend time filming the amazing nature and everyday happenings for fun!
Then we noticed something, the people and brands doing the most meaningful work, protecting nature, building communities, preserving craft, were often invisible. Why wasn’t anyone seeing them?
We decided to change that. With our camera and editing skills, we set out to film their stories. But quickly, we realised it wasn’t just about beautiful visuals. To reach the right people, we had to learn more about storytelling, marketing, and planning.
One of our first videos was for a handwoven natural rug brand. The right people saw it and it worked. Orders started coming in, so many that the founder joked another video might mean even more work than she could handle.
Since then, we’ve filmed stories all over, from Portugal to South Africa, UK to Kenya. We’ve shot in eco-lodges, filmed artisans at work, and helped camera shy clients feel happy in front of the camera. We’ve worked with amazing grassroots organizations and small businesses as well as bigger names such as CNBC and Michelle Obama.
Now, we help purpose-led brands stop overthinking, reconnect with their spark, and combine it with our storytelling, camera work and strategy. So you can focus on your purpose, your expression, and your joy!
